Since this begins the first day of Chelsea's mission, I thought it would be fitting to post!
I am Chelsea's sister Michelle, and my family and I actually live in the DC North mission area, so we are right across the river from where Chelsea will be serving. I am going to keep up this blog while she is away.
I don't have any pictures yet, but I will upload them on here when I get them from my family!
I talked to Chelsea on the phone this afternoon, and she sounded happy but nervous; which is to be expected I think! She was worried about not being a good missionary and wants so badly to do well here. She is probably one of the most faithful person I have met, so I know the Lord will bless her for her efforts.
I will try to keep up this blog with any updates that I receive and pictures I receive.
Please keep Sister Akin in your prayers as she begins this amazing new chapter in her life!
